June 6 Serving Suggestions

Parsley, Leek, and Mushroom Soup

In a saucepan, heat on medium low for 5 minutes or until heated through.  Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a splash of lemon juice (or hot sauce). Also delicious with a piece of crunchy bread!

 

Spicy Harissa Carrot Salad

Serve warm or at room temperature.  Add a small amount of oil to a saucepan and heat for 5 minutes on medium low heat.

 

Creamy Baked Herbed Polenta

In a frying pan over medium heat, melt ghee, butter, coconut oil, or high quality olive oil and sear both sides (about 3 min each side). Or preheat oven to 400F. In ovenproof dish, heat for 10 minutes.

 

Baked Falafel with Fresh Herbs & Lemon Tahini Sauce

In an ovenproof dish at 400F, heat Falafel for 10 minutes.  Serve on a bed of greens with tahini dressing, or can be put in a sandwich/pita with tahini dressing and hummus. Also great as a quick snack all by itself.  

 

Mushroom, Tomato and Leek Frittata with Goat Cheese and Chives

In an ovenproof dish, heat for 5-7 minutes at 350F. Or use a toaster oven at 350F for 5-8 minutes. (Our favorite method!)

 

Spiced Turkey and Zucchini Burgers

Preheat oven to 375F. In an ovenproof dish, heat for 5-10 minutes or until heated through.  Stovetop: In a frying pan on medium, heat burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve with Spicy Harissa Carrots, or on a bun with your favorite condiments. We love this burger with dijon mustard and pickles.

 

Grain Free Lemon Coconut Muffins

Refrigerate if keeping more than 2 days. Can be toasted or warmed. Goes great with coffee or tea, and makes a perfect snack or treat. 

 

Sweet and Savory Sprouted Cashew Butter

Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks. Serve with Nut & Seed Bread, fruits such as apples or bananas, use in smoothies, or just eat by the spoonful. No judgments here. Our favorite way to enjoy is on our Cinnamon and Raisin Oat and Seed Bread.

Refrigerate if storing more than 2 days. Serve at room temp or warm/toasted with ghee or any of your favorite dips or spreads. We love it with the Cashew Butter!
